The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for easy fitting in non-standard air filter sizes, featuring a flexible frame. This electrostatic filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters, capturing dust and allergens to improve indoor air quality. The filter is electrostatically charged, which attracts airborne particles until they can be washed away, allowing for maintenance every 1-3 months. Constructed with a sturdy frame for durability, it includes an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on the surface. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1", and it effectively reduces irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron.
