The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed to fit any system that requires a non-standard air filter size, thanks to its flexible frame. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, effectively cleaning the air in your home by trapping dust and allergens. It features an electrostatic charge generated by air flowing through a maze of static-prone fibers, which attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released during washing. Users are advised to wash the filter every 1-3 months for optimal performance. The filter is constructed with a sturdy frame for durability and includes an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface. It efficiently captures irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, with most particles being smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
