The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed to fit non-standard air filter sizes easily, thanks to its flexible frame. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, resulting in cleaner and fresher air inside your home. The filter utilizes static electricity to trap dust and allergens, effectively attracting and holding airborne particles until they are released during washing. The filter should be washed every 1-3 months to maintain its efficiency. Constructed with a sturdy frame, it is built to last and includes an EPA registered anti-microbial material that inhibits mold and bacteria growth on the surface. The filter effectively reduces a variety of irritants found in the air, including pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, with most particles being smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
