The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for an easy fit in various non-standard air filter sizes, boasting a flexible frame that enhances compatibility. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, capturing dust and allergens effectively to improve indoor air quality. With an electrostatic charge generated by airflow through its maze of static-prone fibers, the filter attracts and retains airborne particles until they are released during washing. It includes an EPA registered anti-microbial material to prevent mold and bacteria growth on its surface. The recommended washing interval is every 1-3 months, facilitating maintenance and long-term use. Furthermore, the nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1", making it versatile for various systems. The Air-Care™ electrostatic air filters are an effective solution for reducing irritants like pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron.
