The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter includes an electrostatic design that is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, designed to fit non-standard air filter sizes. This filter is electrostatically charged to effectively trap dust and allergens, enhancing the air quality in your home. Cleaning is simple, requiring a wash every 1-3 months, and the sturdy frame ensures durability. The filter incorporates an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface. It effectively reduces irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter is in the range of 1/8" to 1".
