The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter features a unique flexible frame design, allowing for easy installation in non-standard air filter sizes. This electrostatic filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters, providing cleaner and fresher indoor air by trapping dust and allergens. The electrostatic charge is produced as air flows through a network of static-prone fibers, effectively capturing airborne particles, which can be released through routine washing every 1-3 months. Built to last, the sturdy frame ensures long-term use, while the filter's EPA-registered anti-microbial material inhibits mold and bacteria growth on its surface. The filters are designed to capture a variety of irritants including pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, with many particles being smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1", making it suitable for various HVAC systems.
