The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for systems requiring non-standard air filter sizes, featuring a flexible frame that ensures an easy fit. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, promoting cleaner and fresher air in your home. It is electrostatically charged to trap dust and allergens, with a simple maintenance routine involving washing the filter every 1-3 months. The durable frame is built to last, making it a sustainable choice for air filtration. Cleaning occurs as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers, generating an electrostatic charge that attracts and retains airborne particles until they are washed away. Additionally, the filters contain an EPA registered anti-microbial material that helps inhibit mold and bacteria growth on the filter surface. Effective at capturing various irritants including pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, Air-Care™ filters are efficient in reducing airborne particles, many of which are smaller than one micron.
