The oval quick-disconnect disposal can is designed for use with 3/8" tubing and has a capacity of 1 gallon. Constructed from translucent polyethylene, it allows for quick visual inspection of liquid levels. The hands-free solvent collection system enables solvent to flow freely into the container through tubing, making it suitable for both pump-fed and gravity-flow HPLC waste methods. It features two disconnect fittings—one for intake and one for venting—to eliminate back pressure in the liquid flow disposal line and facilitate controlled handling of vapors. The can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester at the pouring spout to dissipate heat and prevent flashback ignition. A spring-loaded, sealed lid automatically vents to guard against explosions, while a coalescing/carbon filter helps control odors. The quick-disconnect system allows for easy detachment from the process without leaks, drips, or vapor release, and once disconnected, the container automatically seals to prevent spills. Valved quick-disconnect fittings close automatically when decoupled, and the can includes stainless-steel fittings with PTFE O-rings; customization is available with EPDM O-ring seals. An easy-carrying handle with a fixed-position latch keeps the spring-loaded cover open for convenient pouring during disposal. The dimensions of the exterior are 12.75" H x 5.25" W x 7.75" outer diameter, and the fill/pour hole has a diameter of 1.45 inches.
