The Justrite® Sure-Grip® EX Slimline Safety Cabinet (Model 892220) is designed to provide secure storage and segregation of flammable liquids in environments where space is limited, such as labs, construction sites, and engineering settings. With exterior dimensions of 65 in H x 23.25 in W x 18 in D (1651 mm H x 591 mm W x 457 mm D), it accommodates up to 22 gal (83 L) of flammable liquids and can fit alongside a 45 gal (170 L) cabinet. Constructed from 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel with a double-wall design and 1.5 in (38 mm) insulating air space, this cabinet offers fire resistance and longevity due to its fully welded construction. The high-performance, self-closing door opens a full 180 degrees and features a patented concealed self-close mechanism for unobstructed shelf access. Continuous piano hinges facilitate smooth closure, while fusible links hold the self-closing door open until ambient temperatures reach 165 F (74 C), at which point the door automatically closes. The self-latching system includes three stainless steel bullet-slams for added security. Each cabinet comes equipped with a U-Loc™ handle that simplifies engagement of the latch and includes a cylinder lock and key set, or you have the option to use your own locking mechanism.
