The Caloritech™ AR series industrial thermostat features a DPST configuration and operates within a temperature range of -18° to 40°C (0°F to 100°F), making it suitable for various industrial applications where precise temperature control is not critical. The thermostat's design includes copper bulb and capillaries with nickel plating, except for the high-temperature models AR3769 and AR376893, which utilize stainless steel for corrosive environments; a protective well or sleeving is required in these cases. The unit is equipped with DPST controls that accommodate a 3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter bulb, featuring a 3/8" NPT compression fitting that is non-removable. Additionally, the CA1001 fitting is available for field mounting. This externally adjustable thermostat is safety certified by CSA and C/US. It is finished in a red/silver color and is primarily used with the Caloritech CX series electric screwplug immersion heater for heating water.
