The Forney® 190 MP is a powerful 4-in-1 multi-process machine designed for MIG, stick, flux-core, and DC TIG welding. This lightweight, single-phase inverter machine incorporates the latest despooler technology (patent pending), which automatically optimizes spool tension, simplifying setup changes. It is suitable for applications such as do-it-yourself projects, maintenance and repair, metal fabrication, and artistic metalwork. The machine is capable of MIG welding (GMAW), stick welding (SMAW), flux-cored wire welding (FCAW), and DC TIG welding (GTAW) with lift arc, and can be used on materials including mild steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, copper, nickel, and aluminum (with a spool gun sold separately). Specifications include lift arc TIG capability—requiring a TIG torch (Forney® item# 85659)—and it is not foot pedal capable. The output power ranges from 120A to 200A with input voltages of 120V or 240V. The machine features a 7-pin Amphenol® style connection for a spool gun, with an electrode diameter of up to 5/32", wire diameter of up to .035", and a plate thickness of up to 3/8". The machine is CSA listed, operates on a single phase with a frequency of 50/60Hz, and comes with a 3-year warranty on the power source and a 1-year warranty on the torch.
