The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the shelving features double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Decking is sold separately.
