The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving add-on, measuring 36"W x 12"D x 72"H with a wire deck, is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, it uses snap-in components for quick setup. The shelving provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is simple by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The structure consists of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks to improve fire safety and reduce insurance premiums.
