The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf extra heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on unit measures 48"W x 18"D x 72"H and includes wire decking designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. This adaptable shelving system is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces and features durable roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, using snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. Additionally, sprinkler water can pass throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety and helping to lower insurance premiums.
