The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving add-on, measuring 36"W x 12"D x 72"H with wire deck, is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability and adaptability. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design provides four-sided access and allows expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
