The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving add-on unit measures 48"W x 24"D x 72"H and features a wire deck designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, the shelving unit offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
