The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments for flexible storage. The shelves feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The design allows easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup and expansion, making it simpler and more stable than bolting two starter units together.
