The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility space. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing easy customization, and the open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is straightforward with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking.
