The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at these increments and feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that provides a cost-effective, solid surface. The roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with double rivet button stud construction on the top and bottom shelves to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, and additional units can be joined together for expanded storage with increased stability and less construction time than bolting two starter units together.
