The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelves have sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that provides a cost-effective solid surface.
