The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the solid decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area, providing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The design allows expansion with more stability and less construction effort compared to bolting two starter units together.
