The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. It features a max storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level and includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy support and flexibility. The open shelves allow four-sided access and are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The shelving unit is constructed with roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The decking consists of 5/8" thick smooth particleboard with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, shipped in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simplified by joining units for greater stability without bolting starter units together.
