The SC Preferred™ 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter unit with no decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish offers durability, and the unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Dimensions and decking options vary and decking must be ordered separately.
