The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving unit features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for enhanced stability. The shelving allows four-sided access due to its open design, providing maximum flexibility, and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components facilitating quick setup. Beams lock into corner posts through double rivet button stud construction, creating secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and decking must be ordered separately. Warranty terms are included with the product.
