The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports provide maximum support and help prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every area of a facility. Decking is sold separately.
