The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit, with no decking included, is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit features durable 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires the decking to be ordered separately. Assembly is easy with snap-in components; no bolts, nuts, or clips are required.
