The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using a double rivet button stud construction, providing structural security and preventing back and side sway. The frame is constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under heavy loads. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy and tool-free with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Dimensions are customizable with various heights, widths, and depths available, and decking is ordered separately.
