The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit, designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, features a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and offers durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
