The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces to maximize storage area, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments to provide four side access and maximum flexibility. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components.
