The SC Preferred 5-shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1-inch increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations. The shelving system utilizes a snap-in assembly method with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, enabling easy setup and expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort compared to bolting starter units together. The frame is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel, providing maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14-gauge steel T posts, punched on 1-inch centers, and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1-inch increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Decking must be ordered separately.
