The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows for four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. The shelving unit is made of sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. It is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simple by joining units for increased stability with less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. The package does not include decking, which must be ordered separately.
