The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for versatile use. The open design allows four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility. Easy assembly is ensured with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and units can be expanded easily for added stability and less construction effort compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Decking must be ordered separately. Warranty information is provided with the product.
