The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed for maximum storage capacity, supporting up to 1200 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires separate decking for full use. Assembly is easy with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components for simple setup and stable expansion by joining units without additional bolting.
