The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock the perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, providing a cost-effective solid surface. This system accommodates various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area.
