The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The durable steel framing consists of rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be adjustable at 1" increments. The open design offers four side access for maximum flexibility and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The kit includes a no-bolt assembly system requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, enabling easy snap-in setup. The package features sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, and the entire shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
