The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction to form structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The snap-in components allow for easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the solid decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility.
