The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating nearly every facility with various heights, widths, and depths. It features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexible storage and supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint and preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The kit includes snap-in components for easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The decking consists of smooth 5/8" thick precut particleboard, shipped in two pieces, with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish.
