The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility.
