The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and features open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments for versatile storage configurations. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints preventing back and side sway. The shelving kit features sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
