The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the shelving is easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking offers a cost-effective solid surface; the particle board ships in two pieces.
