The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The system features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, as the snap-in components simplify setup. The package includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a solid and cost-effective shelving surface.
