The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wood decking consists of smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces.
