The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing flexibility in arrangement. This unit offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components for quick setup. The shelving consists of sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints and eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, shipped in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
