The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility, and the unit allows four-sided access. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing, made of 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating for durability. The package includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
