The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelving features durable and adaptable construction with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configurations. The assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustment in 1" increments. Structural integrity is enhanced by front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and come with sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
