The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that adjust at 1" increments. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints to prevent back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The package includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
