The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial use, offering durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs, supported by sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving features double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
