The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner post using double rivet button stud construction, and sturdy 5/8" thick precut particleboard decking shipped in two pieces. The shelving unit allows four side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability and protection against wear and tear. The shelving starter unit is engineered to eliminate back and side sway, providing a structurally secure joint.
