The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. It features adjustable open shelves that can be positioned at 1" increments without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing easy assembly with snap-in components. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts for structural security, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The frame has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the durable, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces, providing cost-effective solid shelving. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and dimensions are available in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate diverse facility needs.
