The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The perimeter beams lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, creating a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open shelf design provides four-side access and allows shelves to be adjusted at 1" increments. The particleboard decking is a smooth, precut 5/8" thick solid surface shipped in two pieces and features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
